This page explains the complete process our editorial team follows from product selection through publication and ongoing review.

Step 1 – Product Selection

Our editorial team identifies products for review based on the following criteria:

• Sufficient publicly available consumer feedback for context

We do not accept payment, free products, or any other consideration in exchange for initiating or publishing a review. Brands may not pay to have a review removed or altered.

Step 2 – Ingredient Analysis

Our lead research writer examines the complete ingredient label, with particular attention to:

• The identity, form, and disclosed dosage of all active ingredients
• Whether the formula discloses exact dosages or uses a proprietary blend structure
• The presence and quantity of inactive ingredients or fillers
• Potential interactions or contraindications noted in publicly available sources
• How the disclosed formula compares to what the brand's marketing materials claim

We do not conduct independent laboratory testing. Our analysis is based on label information and cross-referencing against publicly available reference sources.

Step 3 – Scientific Reference Review

For each key active ingredient, our research writer consults publicly accessible databases including PubMed/NCBI, NIH Office of Dietary Supplements factsheets, and aggregated research summary platforms. We summarize what is publicly available without overstating the strength or applicability of the evidence. We use careful language to indicate when research is preliminary, conflicted, or limited. We never claim that an ingredient treats, cures, or prevents any disease or health condition.

Step 4 – Manufacturing Verification

Our team researches whether each product is manufactured in an FDA-registered facility, whether the manufacturer claims cGMP compliance, whether third-party certifications are disclosed, and whether the company's return and refund policies are clearly accessible. We also check for any publicly available regulatory notices or FTC actions related to the manufacturer.

Step 5 – Consumer Feedback Review

We review publicly available consumer feedback from verified retail platforms and independent forums. We do not fabricate, cherry-pick, or pay for testimonials. Consumer feedback is presented with source context and is never cited as scientific evidence of a product's efficacy.

Step 6 – Editorial Review & Approval

Before publication, a senior editor verifies that no medical claims, outcome guarantees, or misleading statements are present. Affiliate links are confirmed to be properly disclosed. The article receives a review date stamp and is approved for publication.

Fact-Checking Procedure

Claims referencing scientific studies are linked to the original source where possible. Claims about a product's ingredients are based on its publicly available label. Our editorial reviewer flags any claim that cannot be traced to a verifiable source — such claims are sourced or removed before publication.

Content Update Policy

We conduct periodic reviews of published content to ensure accuracy as formulations, research, and company policies change. When updates are made, the "Last Updated" date is revised. Substantial changes are noted in an editorial note within the article.

Correction Policy
